Christmas Cheer

Hi everyone!!!!

Well I babysat my neice...by myself...all alone... for the first time today!!! I was thinking I was going to have to call 911 if she made a stinky diaper but fortunately she saved that for when my mom came over LOL.

I have done lots of pictures these past few days. I started out with a session of three beautiful girls. The Taylor gals were sooo cute! Even though Gracie began the day refusing to even come into the studio things turned out quite well. It was really funny when Shelby informed us that she did not like the plastic sucker lol. Their pictures look great so far. I have not made it to editing all of them yet... but the unedited ones are good :o) I also did a shoot of a friend and her husband. This was one of the first grown up Christmas sessions I attempted... we will see how that turned out lol. Then my niece Abigail was quite the little camera hog for approximately 10 minutes before she was over it... we managed to get some really really cute ones of her for the Grantham family Christmas cards. I also photographed the resident wild child of the family this weekend too :o) Josh and Sarah came over this morning to have their Christmas pictures taken. Their pictures are looking really cute as well and we found out that Sarah really enjoys the taste of her shoes. She kept insisting she put them in her mouth lol...she is such a cutie.

After all that hoopla was done today Sabrina and I took Abby to Bass Pro Shop to have her picture taken with Santa. I stood on the sideline and snapped a few with Bink's camera so they would have some extras lol.

Amanda... I am ordering your pictures!!! Don't ask me again or I will get a restraining order put on you. LOL.

Here are some previews of all these above mentioned sessions:

Busy Little Bee!!!

This weekend has been very busy for me. I started out doing a session with an 8 week old... Bayla was a joy to photograph! Then my sister and I drove to Natchez for a SOGGY and WET family session which turn out to be quite fun! Sabrina would hold the umbrella up as high as she could while I tried to snap pictures without getting my camera wet (I am sure this was quite the sight to see LOL)! The Waller family had a great sense of humor and we wound up taking a lot of really cute pictures despite the weather! Today I shot engagement pictures for some family friends who are getting married in June. Stephanie and Craig were also really good sports while I drug them all over Baton Rouge. I am excited to do her Bridal portraits and wedding as well! YAY!!!

Here are a few photos from all three sessions :o)

Borrowing Children

This morning I woke up and kidnapped my other niece Abby!! We drove approximately two miles an hour all the way back to my house (this was my first time to transport a baby)...SCARY!! I was really wishing I had a BABY ON BOARD sticker to explain to everyone why my speed was so minimal LOL! She will be four months old next week. She is sooo sweet and she did so good for her pictures. The only time she fussed was when we put her in her LSU dress. I am hoping this is not because she has already decided to dislike the TIGERS! Her daddy's side of the family are all Mississippi State fans, so lets just hope she doesn't go that route.

Here are a few of her pictures :o)
